| Week 5 Update: Well, we finally found a team we can play against, just not that well. We lost 5-6 Tuesday night. We got a little bit of a late start, then Ger and Karla had a truly marathon match that spanned hours, maybe days. Then Rob played Rob in a pretty lengthy match, so we tripled up: Mike, Baker, and Burrage played their matches simultaneously. (The other team there had finished and gone home.) Mike finished victoriously, then Burrage finished victoriously and then we all (well, Ger was the only one left) waited for Baker to sloooowwwly lose in two. Five points is the most yet this season, we were much more evenly matched and they are a friendly team, so that's good. Just sucks to lose all the time. |
