Match report: We beat the Aces again, same as last time, 6-5. Sure,
they are ahead of us, sure they'll stay ahead of us, sure we could have
done better, but at least we won. Notables: We won both 601
games and the first cricket to go 3-0 for the first time ever this
season. Travis loses 301s to girls, it must be a mental thing,
although she did take some high outs. Baker finally played decent in
301 (right in, right down, right out once) in 301, but lost anyway.
The Lytle/Reardon cricket team is proving to be very solid. The
Flanagan/Lytle team had a slow start but brought the game to well
within reason by the end. And the Burrage/Fleischner team played a
vicious high-scoring match, but Aaron's corking took the victory from
our boys. Finally, to win the match, Mr. Reardon, Mr. Burrage, and
Mr. Fleischner played for some very quick victories.
One more thing notable: the Guinness tap apparently ran out, the
bartendress changed it, but it was not working properly. She was
uncomfortable calling Conor on it, but the Northeast Brewing dudes
volunteered to head down to the basement and make it work. We love
that!
