Week 17: In a high-scoring battle of former NFC champions, David Burrage beat out Bill Herron to win his second weekly pot. David moved into 2nd place (after three-time winner Phil) for overall weekly winnings. The season: D.Baker wins the season! The season race is over, but not until the last moment. Karen had a two-point lead on the season going into this final week, but D.Baker got two more right in the 1 o'clock games to tie it up for a little while. Then, in the only remaining game that they had different, the New York Giants made a tremendous last- second attempt, but Dallas won the game by eight and D.Baker won the game, went ahead by one point on the season to win the whole thing!! The rest of the overall race: Karen took 2nd, just one point out of first place, Ger took over 3rd back in mid-November and never let go. David Burrage narrowly took 4th with Julie, Bill, and Debbie (an early runner in the season race) right on his heels. Thank you all for playing--see you next year!
